The Zalian Chronicles: Volume 3 - Book 2
After bringing Sophia home safely, Nathan is commissioned to take her back to Mirrac to rescue her parents from Seth's capture. But freeing Sophia's parents won't be a walk in the park for the princess and the bandit. Especially while Leos is still hunting them.

I woke up to see a nice, sunny sky. I was in a small clearing of a dense wooded area. My first thought was: "Did I escape? Where am I?"
My head throbbed tremendously. I lifted my arm to gently feel the bump on the back of my head. However, when I lifted my arm, I found that it was chained to a tree. I lifted my other arm and found it was chained, too. I suddenly noticed there was someone next to me. A rugged, red-headed man. He was chained to a tree exactly as I was. Then, past him, another person chained to a tree. I began to search around the clearing and noted that there were almost two dozen people, all chained to trees.
The red-headed man next to me started to wake up. He shook his head like a dog. Then he looked around. Then he laughed.
"Just my luck." He sighed.
"Where are we?" I asked him. "Why are we here?"
"We're about to be a part of Seth's entertainment." He told me. "We're all going to get slaughtered."

Fun Facts!
Two characters introduced in this book, David and Trez, were actually taken from an unfinished novel titled Fantasy Fable.
The art done in this book was created by Trevor Hedden, a dear friend of mine who I met while in college. He often thinks his work is terrible, but the results speak for themselves.
A Bundle of Fools was originally a part of The Noble Bandit. They were later split into two books when multiple people told me it was too much for the first novel.
I invented Mary's D.I.D. personality, Miriam, before knowing it was a real-life condition. It was actually inspired off of fictional characters who possess something similar to D.I.D. such as the incredible Hulk.
The name "Korhn" is not actually related to the name "Krohn" at all. Originally, I wanted to name Nathan's raccoon "Korn", as in "Corn", so it demonstrated how Nathan was bad at spelling. I found out, though, that "Korn" was the name of a rock band and didn't want my sweet, little raccoon to be associated with such. However, I had already gotten so accustomed to the name. So, I added in a silent "h". It just so happened to be very similar to my last name, but that was just a happy accident.
