Baptist Apologetics: Volume One
Sometimes we hold to an aspect of our faith without knowing why. Sometimes we know why, but we're not sure how to aptly explain it to others. This book is the first in a series that is to help explain a Bible-believing Baptist's view on many controversial and important issues in our day and age. It holds to the words of the King James Version Bible as paramount to all other ideologies, authorities, and organizations. The aim of this book is to be an aid with the Bible, not a replacement for the Bible. My hope and prayer is that it helps and guides others to a closer walk with Jesus Christ.

Volume One contains the following subjects and what the Bible has to say about them:
Abortion
Authority
Dance
Gambling
Modesty
Salvation
Temptation
Wrath, Love, and Other Enigmas
Alcohol
Baptism
Evolution
Homosexuality
Music
Tattoos, Piercings, and Cuttings
The Triune God

Senior Pastor of Heritage Baptist Church
As a pastor, it is my privilege to recommend “Baptist Apologetics” by Nicholas M. Krohn to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the Baptist faith and the essential role of apologetics within our tradition. This book offers a thorough and compelling defense of the Baptist perspective, addressing critical questions and challenges faced by believers today.
Krohn’s work is rooted in Scripture, providing clear and articulate explanations of key doctrines, while also engaging with contemporary issues and objections. His approach is both scholarly and accessible, making it an invaluable resource for both laypeople and church leaders.
“Baptist Apologetics” not only equips readers with the knowledge to defend their faith but also inspires a greater appreciation for the rich theological heritage of the Baptist tradition. It is an essential addition to any Christian’s library, particularly those within the Baptist denomination.
I wholeheartedly endorse this book and believe it will greatly benefit anyone seeking to strengthen their faith and understanding of Baptist theology.
Fun Facts!
The inspiration for this book came when my college professor, Dr. John Waterloo, challenged my class to write more books. Particularly, an apologetics book (as that was his class). He noted that Baptists were typically known nowadays as preachers instead of authors. When I told him I would write an apologetics book, he initially didn't believe me. However, upon seeing my resolve afterwards, he assisted me for the next several years in completing it.
This book was sent to various Bible-believing pastors and godly Christians throughout the country to ensure that everything was doctrinally sound and not misleading in any fashion. The only complaints dealt with grammatical errors and one point of accidentally making assisted living situations seem like an ill idea for aging parents. No doctrinal errors were ever brought up by any of the beta-readers and the book was submitted to an English teacher to correct the many grammatical mistakes.
Originally, Baptist Apologetics was going to include many more subjects, such as the KJV Bible, the Lord's Supper, etc. After trying to cram in so many subjects, it was found that not everything could fit. Because of this, Baptist Apologetics: Volume Two and perhaps even a third installment are being planned to tackle all of the content originally wished.
